What do you get when two musical theatre performers get hitched?
Incredibly moving vows, wonderful music that everyone will want to sing along to, Dirty Dancing choreography, and A REALLY FUN WEDDING. That's what we got when Tara Tagliaferro and Patrick Roberts tied the knot after dating for nearly eight years.
Tara and Patrick met doing summer stock in New Hampshire in 2010. I remember because I was THERE! I'm so happy for my friends who I was fortunate to share the stage with so many years ago, and so honored they picked me to photograph their special day.
Originally built in the 1930s, The Barn at Perona Farms is located in the picturesque countryside of Northern New Jersey. The barn and surrounding landscape was picture perfect for that modern, rustic, boho-chic feel that harmonized with Tara’s flower crown and lace long-sleeve dress.
The air was crisp with that first glimpse of Fall, lending just enough chill in the air to make you want to snuggle up to that special someone and remember how wonderful it is to find love in this world.
Tara and Patrick’s wedding was the essence of ‘Tara and Patrick’: joyful, genuine, magical, and most of all SO MUCH FUN. I am so lucky I got the chance to not only see the beginning of their relationship bloom back in summer stock days, but to witness and document the wedding of one of the cutest couples I have known.
