STOOP PORTRAITS

I hope this finds you all safe and healthy in this unprecedented time.   Up till this point many of us have been cooped up inside sheltering at home with our loved ones.  Now that New York City is beginning to re-open, I'm starting to walk a little further than my 5 block radius and enjoy the city again (with mask on).  My 3-year-old son is growing so fast and I've been documenting as much as I can but I have definitely missed photographing my clients as well.

Now that Summer is here, and things are starting to open, I've decided to offer a few socially distanced photo session options for those of you who have missed the chance to document your family in this unique time.   I can only imagine how some of you are seeing your babies growing up right before your eyes.   Perhaps you have a new baby and haven’t yet had the opportunity to have photos taken at all!   Many of you may be considering leaving the city and would like to capture a memory of your neighborhood one last time.

I am excited to offer Stoop Portraits. For only $350, you can have a gallery of beautiful, professionally shot (from a safe a distance) and professionally edited images of you and your loved ones. 5% of each session will be donated to No Kid Hungry, a charity which helps hungry kids in need.*  For these sessions you will receive 20 fully edited digital images with the option to purchase professional quality prints and wall art for your home.

These sessions will be social distancing approved, with me shooting with a telephoto lens and a mask. Each session will be 20-30 minutes.  Please feel free to wear anything you’d like! You can make it dressy or casual – whatever way you would like to remember this point in time.

Why Shoot a Family Stoop Portrait?

Do you love your historic neighborhood? As a long time Manhattan resident myself, I have made so many memories here over the years. I remember shooting my first clients’ headshots in front of a gorgeous neighborhood brownstone. My first engagement session was shot around Central Park West.

Perhaps you have a similar history or are considering moving. You always loved the architecture in this wonderful historic district, so why not include your historic steps, banister, gaslight post, detailed door or even your window sill in the photos?

To schedule your session, please email me. I look forward to capturing this unique time in your family’s life and bringing some much needed joy.
