THE DAYS ARE LONG BUT THE YEARS ARE SHORT
I know as a mom of a seven year old boy, the years of my son crawling into my lap to snuggle are fleeting. Gone are the toddler days when he was just learning to walk or run, giggling as I chased him around the yard.
Documenting those early years and giving parents the chance to freeze this precious time in heirloom artwork is something I feel very passionate about. Let's capture those little curls, those dimples and sweet chubby cheeks and create timeless artwork that can be passed down through the generations.
THE PROCESS:
- Sign up for my monthly newsletter to receive early access to my open heirloom dates. You can also reach out directly through my contact form here.
- After you’ve booked your date, I’m here to take all the planning off of your plate. I will send you a questionnaire to learn your child’s name, age & clothing size. You will have access to my full heirloom client wardrobe of timeless pieces.
- We’ll sit down together immediately following the portrait sitting. Your child will be entertained while you and I work together to choose your favorite images. You will be also able to choose from my handpicked selection of frame and display options.
- Your chosen images will be master retouched, and your product order will be placed and delivered to the studio. After a full quality inspection, your products will be wrapped and hand delivered to you. Your heirloom portraits will be ready for you to enjoy for years to come!

FAQ
WHAT AGE IS BEST FOR HEIRLOOM PORTRAITS?
There's no wrong age, but babies from about 6 months through kids age 8 are typically the best ages to create these Heirloom Portraits.
WHERE DO HEIRLOOM PORTRAIT SESSIONS TAKE PLACE?
Heirloom portrait sittings are done in Meg's studio located in Winston-Salem, NC. Sessions are by appointment only.
WHAT SHOULD MY CHILD WEAR?
When you book your child's heirloom session, I will send you a list of favorite local boutiques and brands as well as items available in the client closet. For a true heirloom look, choose clothing that has details like ruffled collars, lace, smocking, etc. is best!
