It's that magical time of year! A Santa session is a one on one full experience with Santa Claus where your child can spend quality time with Santa in a beautiful photography studio in Winston-Salem. A yearly tradition with Meg Rybicki Photography, Santa travels from the North Pole one week per year to visit with children and hear what is on the top of their wish list.

Hi there! I'm Meg, your lifestyle portrait photographer with over ten years of experience photographing families and children of all ages. This is my seventh year offering Santa Sessions and I can honestly say, these are my favorite limited edition sessions that I offer. I love capturing the joy and wonder in a child's eyes when they meet the real live Santa.
My son was 3 when he was our promo model for our very first Santa Sessions (you'll see him here in the stripped PJs!)

Step into the magic of Christmas with our limited edition Santa Sessions - designed especially for children and families who want an intimate, unforgettable visit with Santa—without the long lines or crowded malls.
Held in our cozy private photo studio, each session offers your child a personal moment with Santa in a calm, beautifully styled holiday setting. Watch their eyes light up as they share their wish list, receive a sweet treat, and pose for timeless, professional photos you’ll treasure forever.
What’s Included:
- A private 8-10 minute meeting with Santa
- A thoughtfully styled Christmas set
- A small gift or treat from Santa
- An online gallery with professionally edited images
- 5 complimentary digital downloads
- Options to order additional digital files, holiday cards, professional quality prints, and ornaments
*a sales tax will be added to all session fees and print orders
WHAT TO EXPECT
During your 10 minute private appointment with Santa your child will have the opportunity to read a story, open a gift, try a special holiday treat, or share what they would like for Christmas. Children are encouraged to bring their special wish list, to give to Santa during their session.
Appointment windows are for immediate families with up to 3 children. If you would like longer than 10 minutes with Santa or have more than 3 children in your family, you can book 2 time slots.
HOW TO PREPARE
Prior to your session, you'll receive a prep guide to help you prepare for your session including helpful tips and links to favorite outfits for children. Since your session will be indoors we don't have to worry about what the weather will bring!
When it's your child's session time, I will offer several prompts and activities for your child to do with Santa while capturing the most beautiful and magical candid portraits of your child.
FAQ
What happens if my child cries?
We follow each child’s lead, letting the session unfold at a pace that feels comfortable to the children. If your kiddo seems shy or scared, we’ll begin with warm family portraits—or solo shots—then gently invite Santa to join when your child is ready.
After six seasons of magical Santa sessions, we’ve gathered a sleigh‑full of tricks for capturing beautiful photos—even when little believers aren’t quite sure about meeting the Big Guy in red.
Is the session fee refundable?
Due to the limited nature of these types of mini session events, the session fee is non refundable. However, if you find that you are unable to make your session, please let us know so that we can give your spot to someone on the waitlist, or you are welcome to gift your session to a friend or have them take your spot.
What should my child wear?
A full Santa Experience Guide will be sent in late September or early October packed full of goodies including links to clothing recommendations.
Holiday colors and neutrals usually look best.
Will I be able to order holiday cards?
Holiday cards and gifts will be available for purchase through your online gallery! Popular gift items include ornaments, and keepsake albums. Order before December 4th for Christmas delivery.
When will my gallery be ready?
The goal is to deliver all holiday and Santa galleries by Thanksgiving weekend so you have a chance to order cards and gifts for family.
