This isn't a hurried visit.

Each child enjoys a private one-on-one session with Santa, giving them the opportunity to truly interact with him while I quietly document every smile, laugh, curious question, and wide-eyed moment of wonder.

Some children eagerly tell Santa exactly what's on their Christmas list.

Others cuddle close while listening to a Christmas story, sharing cookies, opening a special surprise, or simply enjoying a quiet conversation.

These genuine interactions are what create the images families treasure most—not forced smiles, but authentic childhood magic.

What if my child is nervous or scared?

One of the questions I hear most often is:

"What if my child is nervous?"

The answer is simple—we let them lead. After photographing thousands of children over the years, I've learned that every child experiences Santa differently. Some run straight into his arms. Others need a few quiet minutes.

Sometimes we begin with family portraits before inviting Santa into the scene. Other times we simply play, laugh, and allow trust to build naturally.

There is never any pressure.

My goal isn't just to get your child looking at the camera—it's to preserve this fleeting season of childhood exactly as it unfolds. And some years tears will happen but I do find, sometimes those photos are some of the most cherished photos and the next year, the child no longer has the fear and is SO excited to meet Santa. It's a wonder to behold.
