A graduation and family reunion
There’s something especially meaningful about gathering an entire family together—grandparents, siblings, cousins—all in one place, at one time. This extended family session at Reynolda Gardens was the perfect blend of celebration and connection, honoring a milestone that brought everyone together: a graduation from Wake Forest University.
Reynolda in the spring is pure magic. The gardens feature dozens of rose varieties in May - even climbing ones! Along with the stunning greenhouse and fountain, you really can't go wrong with this location.
As we moved through the gardens, we took time to highlight each family unit, grandparents with their grandchildren, siblings together again, and of course, the graduate at the heart of it all. You could feel the pride in every interaction—the hugs, the smiles, the quiet moments in between.
These sessions are about more than just a graduation announcement. They’re about marking a season, honoring the people who helped shape it, and preserving what it feels like to all be together. Years from now, these images will tell the story of not just an accomplishment, but of a family showing up fully for one of their own.
It was such an honor to document this chapter at Reynolda Gardens—where beauty, history, and meaningful moments come together so seamlessly.
